Laughing and Singing our Way Through Fear

I give deep thanks to an unknown Buddhist community in Nova Scotia for the title of this workshop.  A friend saw the flyer and suggested I offer the same.

It is part of a series: Laughing and Singing our Way Through Anger, Sadness, and Guilt/Shame.

This playshop includes an opening circle, a short heart-centering meditation, a warm up, some gentle theatre games for non-theatre people, some singing, a reflective exercise, and a closing circle.

Quotes from past participants:

“I feel without baggage” -Alison

“You led us gently into vulnerability.  I was thinking, I don’t know if I can do this.  And then I did it!” -Holly

“Megan’s sensitivity and deep research for her PhD combine to create a heart opening and inspirational workshop.  I left feeling very happy in my heart and lucky to ‘walk to the wall’ with clowns holding a sacred space.” -Lisa Marie

I will be offering them at Nan’s Rock Shop in Wilmot and at ArtsPlace in Annapolis Royal over the next few months.  Watch here for dates and times, or contact me to let me know of your interest or ask me questions.  meganhyslop@yahoo.ca or 902 840 1734.
